I'm sure you were all waiting with bated breath to know what machine I finally chose. I went with the Singer Quantum Futura, and it was delivered today. It may not be the fanciest machine on the block, but I think I'm in love. I got it hooked up and ran the sample pattern, and it went perfectly. A little noisy, but I don't care. I do believe my husband will be taking me to stock up on thread tomorrow!

Enjoy!

I sure like mine! You should try some of the lace patterns available...

So, how is it? (And is it the CE-100 or the CE-200, or what?)

I have a bit of cash to spend and I am thinking of getting an embroidery machine... it's so hard to find out useful information on line though! All the websites I've found just list the features of the sewing machine. I'm a geek -- I want to know what the software is like, and how much of a pain it is to use! (-:

It's the CE-200, and actually, I haven't used it since I ran the test pattern! My son was born 5 days after the machine arrived, and between working full-time and taking care of the baby, I haven't had the time to do any projects in the past few months. However, based on the one time I used it, the software does seem fairly easy to use.

Sorry I can't be more helpful!

I used mine (the same model) for the first time this evening - with a design I had downloaded from one of the many groups online. It worked beautifully! Good luck with yours.
